The Wolves Are At The Gate

Having a sincere desire to protect our country from those who seek to subdue it to their own purposes I have created this blog to argue the ideas of those who appear at the gate in sheep’s clothing. Let them on their own accord be associated one way or the other, by embracing the ideas of freedom or treachery!

I have debated the idea of wither to keep this blog secular in nature and avoid the use of theological ideas as evidence to the arguments themselves and have determined that the exclusion of these founding “natural laws” of which George Washington himself addressed in his first inaugural address*, have lead to the crises at hand. All the while, the willingness or lack of rebuttal from those of faith has contributed to the demise of the respectful position of Men of Faith as a whole.

This forum will reunite the positions of “government by the people” to the absolute truth which harbors its existence, and of which it in all reality could never have been separated.

Those of you who are familiar to the circumstances, which occurred prior to the creation of this world, will see the stark similarities to those who seek to subdue freedom now and those who sought it then. Many in politics today seek to ensure success to their entire constituency, for which all they want in return is the glory and power attributed to it. “I am the one who saved them” a seemingly cheap price to pay for success. However, can you truly call it success if you did not achieve it? If you did not struggle, and suffer the consequences of mistakes and right your path to return to that, which would allow success. In all reality, are you not robbed when given something without the need to show your ability to gain it on your own accord? Are you not robbed of the ability to prove to yourself that you have the ability with in you to accomplish such great feats as self-reliance? How sweet it must be for those who are told, “You are not good enough” to be able to look back and say but I did… Even the greatest gift of all we must act to receive. The gift of the Atonement itself requires that we ask and have a change of heart in order to receive its rewards.

“There is a law decreed in heaven before the foundations of this world,    upon which all blessings are predicated and when we obtain any blessing from God, it is by obedience to that law upon which it is predicated”

     -Doctrines and Covenants Section 130:20-21

Let not this be seen as an attack on charity, the most profound of loves. We must know that true charity does not take away ones responsibility. To help a brother out of the mire is just. If the charity is given to enable a man to return to his ability when trodden under foot then it is just. To give a man charity to empower the giver over him is an abomination; Moreover, Nothing Less Than Slavery! We must be humble to see the true desire of our hearts when we accept charity, is it for a free ride? Alternatively, do we truly desire to improve our state and become a profitable cog in society? In addition, we must be wise in determining the desire of the giver. Do they sincerely want to see our success, or merely buy our vote to give them, the power for which they so hungrily starve.

*    The wise words of our first President George    Washington echo the knowledge of a fundamental truth found in his first inaugural address April 1789

“I dwell on this prospect with every satisfaction which an ardent love for my country can inspire; since there is no truth more thoroughly established than that there exists in the economy and course of nature an indissoluble union between virtue and happiness, between duty and advantage, between the genuine maxims of an honest and magnanimous policy and the solid rewards of public prosperity and felicity; since we ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right, which Heaven itself has ordained; and since the preservation of the sacred fire of liberty and the destiny of the republican model of government are justly considered as deeply, perhaps as finally, staked on the experiment intrusted to the hands of the American people.
